Project FinLit

An outreach initiative to promote financial literacy among youth, Project FinLit featured an interactive workshop at Pehli Aasha Foundation. Through fun games and discussions, children learned basic money management skills, fostering awareness and inspiration in underprivileged communities.

Project FinLit is an outreach initiative dedicated to promoting financial literacy among youth and underprivileged communities. The project focuses on empowering children with basic money management skills such as saving, budgeting, and understanding the value of money, skills that form the foundation of long-term financial awareness and independence.

As part of this program, our members conducted a financial education workshop at Pehli Aasha Foundation, an NGO working with underprivileged children. The session was designed to make financial learning interactive and engaging through games, discussions, and relatable examples. By simplifying money concepts, we ensured that children not only learned but also enjoyed the process of understanding finance.

The impact of the workshop extended beyond financial lessons. It fostered a sense of confidence, curiosity, and connection. Children actively participated, asked questions, and explored new perspectives on money management, while our members experienced the importance of spreading financial knowledge in accessible formats.

Through Project FinLit, we aim to:

  • Strengthen financial literacy among youth.

  • Provide underprivileged communities with practical financial education.

  • Encourage early awareness of responsible money habits.

This initiative highlighted how small efforts in financial education can create a meaningful social impact. By equipping children with the tools to make informed financial decisions, Project FinLit contributes to building a financially aware and empowered generation.
